Blackstone's Global Fund Finance division is in search of an Associate to support the generation of monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs) and reporting for the Hedge Fund Solutions platform. Key responsibilities entail the computation of estimated NAVs, final NAV reconciliations, processing investor disbursements, managing expense budgets, hedging activities, cash reconciliations, and various client reporting tasks, along with fund structuring and restructuring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate monthly estimated and finalized Fund NAVs
  • Analyze NAV reconciliations in collaboration with third-party administrators and custodians
  • Assess and reconcile the calculation of management and performance fees
  • Scrutinize and reconcile client capital statements produced by external administrators
  • Examine and reconcile fund foreign currency exposure while coordinating hedging strategies
  • Facilitate and coordinate team responses to client inquiries
  • Review tailored client reporting, including calculations of time-weighted returns and IRRs
  • Oversee monthly revenue reporting and assist in projection reviews
  • Aid in the establishment and launch of new products and funds
  • Analyze cash flow reporting to support investment activities
  • Review capital call and distribution calculations, along with investor notifications
  • Collaborate with offshore teams in NAV production
  • Work alongside Operations teams, including Middle Office, Pricing, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Legal and Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Leverage technology and outsourced solutions to improve efficiencies and controls
  • Supervise service providers to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Partner with reporting teams to accurately present data in audited financial statements and regulatory submissions
  • Review legal documentation pertinent to fund accounting processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA and/or CFA designation preferred
  • Experience in private equity, hedge fund, and/or fund of hedge funds investing
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting ledger data
  • Strong preference for experience with accounting systems
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Exceptional analytical and communication abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and effectively organizing time
  • A collaborative team player, eager to support colleagues

Expected annual base salary range:

$105,000 - $140,000

Actual base salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For positions located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands, as these roles will adhere to a distinct compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not encompass other forms of compensation or benefits associated with the advertised role.
