Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team in Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
Responsibilities- Correlate patient history and support systems within hospital care and nursing home care.
- Assess the needs of patients and families, developing and initiating plans of care that involve patient and family participation.
- Recommend interventions and evaluate plans of care, demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge to resolve complex patient/management/physician problems without supervision.
- Lead process improvement initiatives in your unit or participate in facility teams, precepting new employees or students and reviewing clinical performance with unit leaders or clinical instructors.
- Provide educational activities, excluding basic patient education, and contribute to the development and evaluation of unit orientation programs.
- Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters, following policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
- Minimum Experience: Three (3) years professional nursing experience.
- Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Tennessee RN license and CPR.
