Job Overview

Center for Orthopedic and Research Excel is seeking a per-diem Radiology Technician to provide services across various locations.

Schedule: As needed, with potential assignments in different counties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts radiology procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Travels to various clinics as instructed by management.
  • Prepares for additional cases prior to scheduled appointments.
  • Operates equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Adheres to all HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Addresses patient concerns and escalates issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintains effective communication with medical staff and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and current ARRT certification are required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting as a Radiology Technician.
  • Valid state and ARRT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Familiarity with radiology protocols and procedures.
  • Proficient in using computers and relevant software.
  • Understanding of safety protocols within the radiology department.
