Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process, assessing mental health needs, developing nursing diagnoses, and evaluating care.
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments ordered by a physician, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement milieu management and crisis intervention strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Current Texas State Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting (preferred)
