About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our team at BrightView. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for aggressively growing our landscape maintenance business in a defined territory.

You will thrive in our fast-paced environment, closing deals with your resilience and persistence. Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining trusted relationships with key decision makers, discovering their pain points, and developing value-based solutions.

You will also be responsible for effectively qualifying opportunities to gain valuable intelligence, building and presenting compelling customer-centric proposals, and working well with operations team members and leveraging their expertise with yours.

Hitting specific activity benchmarks and closing business will be a key part of your role.

What You'll Need
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Driven, disciplined, focused, and enjoy prospecting
  • Experience working in a team-selling environment
  • Experience in the service industry with a beautiful product
  • Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels (a plus)
  • Experience managing multiple projects and a large territory (a plus)
  • Experience with a CRM or SFA tool (a plus)
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments (a plus)
