Key Responsibilities:
  • HSE Support: Provide functional expertise and HSE support in close alignment to the Lufkin HSE management system and recognized industry best practices.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents during working hours and non-working hours, including weekends, to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Hazard Identification and Mitigation: Identify hazards and develop innovative solutions using the Hierarchy of Controls Model to mitigate such hazards and promote a culture of continual improvement.
  • Investigations and Audits: Conduct rigorous incident investigations, HSE audits, and hazard hunts to ensure root causes and key hazards are clearly identified and communicated.
  • Travel and Training: Travel to work locations to coordinate the overall safety program with field and store personnel, and present safety meeting topics in a classroom and field environment.
  • Contract Review: Conduct an HSE review on contracts and other operational documents to identify risks and potential areas of concern.
  • Relationship Building: Engage and build effective relationships with all site personnel to promote a visible and proactive risk-based approach to HSE management.
  • Closure and Follow-up: Follow up on all Regional CAPAs and incidents to ensure closure and monitor, record, and review all HSE performance against Lufkin HSE objectives.
