About the Role

As a Nuclear Med Tech, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs. You will also be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes, operating gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes.
• Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

Requirements

• ARRT (N) certification
• BLS certification
• Two years of recent Nuclear Med Tech experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
