Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of five years of Operating Room Nursing experience as both a scrub and circulating nurse
  • Three recommendations from practicing Surgeons and demonstrated clinical practice for those with less than five years of experience
  • Successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN education standards
  • A BSN from an accredited nursing school
  • An active RN License in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the AHA
  • CNOR Certification
  • Proficiency in English, along with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
