Pendo is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with the FP&A team and finance leadership to equip Pendo's business executives with essential budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting, and specialized analyses.

This position will specifically support the Marketing, Human Resources, and Legal departments by delivering insights that guide budgeting and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities


Engage with budget stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their operational areas and utilize that insight to deliver analyses that drive informed business decisions.

Act as a financial authority in discussions with budget managers, offering insights that aid in the development and execution of strategic plans.

Formulate financial models, reports, and analyses to bolster critical business decisions and strategic objectives.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts at both the departmental and organizational levels.
Track key performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze the causes of variances for stakeholders.
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary.
Prepare and deliver financial updates to senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Previous experience in FP&A, corporate finance, risk management, or a related field (preferably within a SaaS environment)
Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
Familiarity with GAAP principles
Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey insights effectively
Commitment to accuracy and precision; highly organized
Creative thinker, highly motivated, and self-driven
Strong time management abilities with a focus on task prioritization

Preferred Software Proficiency:
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, Google Slides, Anaplan, and Workday

The anticipated salary range for this role is as follows:

Raleigh, NC:
$80,000 - $100,000

New York, NY:
$84,000 - $105,000
