Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation oncology department.
Key Responsibilities- Simulate and deliver planned courses of treatment to patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Collaborate with the treatment planning team to ensure accurate and effective treatment delivery
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff therapists
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiation therapy techniques and protocols
- Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program
- Three years' experience as a radiologic technologist
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Virginia or Maryland (preferred)
- Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
- Able to speak and write English fluently
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
