Locum Tenens General Surgeon Position

Superbeo is seeking qualified candidates for a General Surgery Locum position.
Role Requirements:
- Board Certification is mandatory (Board Eligible candidates within 3 years of residency training will be considered).
- Current ACLS certification and ND DEA registration are essential.
- Candidates in the process of obtaining IMLC certification are also welcome to apply.
- Clean professional history is preferred; candidates with monitoring agreements or revoked licenses will not be considered.
Position Details:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing surgical care, which includes both clinic and on-call duties. The expected workload includes:
- 14 days of service per month.
- 10 days of on-call responsibilities, including patient consultations in the clinic.
Work Schedule:
- Monday: 8 AM - 5 PM Clinic
- Tuesday: Surgery followed by clinic hours
- Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM Clinic
- Thursday: Surgery followed by clinic hours
- Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM Clinic
Facility Information:
The facility operates at a Trauma Level IV with a bed count of 25. Surgical procedures are scheduled Monday through Friday, with emergency services available 24/7.
Call Requirements:
On-call duties require a response time of 20 minutes, with an average daily census of 15 patients. The locum physician will be expected to manage phone consultations, admissions, and rounding on surgical patients.
