Position Overview

Our Anesthesia department at St. John Medical Center is experiencing growth. We are a cohesive team of 25 anesthesiologists within a larger multi-specialty group of 125 members. Practice Highlights:

• Work Schedule: 4-day work week (40 hours weekly). Call frequency is 1:7 with 2 weekends per quarter. Utilization of Epic EMR.
• Surgical specialties include a robust orthopedics program, general and acute care surgery, urology, ENT, colorectal, GYN, cataracts, occasional dental procedures, and endoscopy/GI. Offsite responsibilities include cath lab, MRI, and trauma response.
• We are launching an Acute Pain Program to enhance patient care.
• No cardiac, neurosurgery, or transplant cases. Obstetrics is managed by CRNA staff.
• No CRNA supervision requirements or resident involvement.
• Expertise in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and a commitment to teamwork are essential.

• St. John Medical Center (SJMC) is a 346-bed Level III Trauma Center, providing a wide array of medical specialty services including emergency, trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, orthopedic, cancer care, and women's services.
