Job Title: Toddler Program Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Program Teacher to join our team at Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and positive interactions for children ages 18-36 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a play-based curriculum tailored to the developmental needs and interests of toddlers.
  • Create a nurturing and responsive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Support toddlers in developing language, motor skills, and social-emotional growth through intentional and interactive activities.
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with families through regular communication about their child's progress and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and learning.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Infant/Toddler Development units preferred).
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Fingerprint and TB clearance.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and engage in active play with toddlers.
