Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and assisting physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms
  • Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians
  • Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms
  • Prefer IV experience to perform contrast and bubble studies
Requirements
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT)
  • CPR certification
