Carryout Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Carryout Attendant to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Carryout Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient carryout experience.

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques to provide guests with personalized recommendations and ensure accurate orders.
• Promptly and accurately package food and beverage orders, ensuring all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
• Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and provide assistance with menu selections.
• Wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite the guest experience.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately accounting for all receivables.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the bakery and retail areas.
• Effectively handle guest complaints and involve managers as needed.
• Answer phone calls using a company script and respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Accurately input carryout orders into the computer system.
• Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests.

• 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. The ability to reach, use hands, and bend is also required. Additionally, the ability to verbally communicate with others and use close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is necessary.
