Job Title: SRP GIS Coordinator

Atika Technologies is seeking a highly skilled GIS Coordinator to join our team. As a GIS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining geographic information systems to support our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement GIS data management plans to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with civilian and military personnel to develop GIS data and provide technical support.
  • Conduct field data collection and develop GIS programs to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Produce maps and reports using ESRI's ArcGIS 10.6.1 desktop and catalog.
  • Develop and maintain metadata to ensure data discoverability and accessibility.
  • Provide GIS instruction and custom training exercises to support team development.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience working with GIS in a professional environment.
  • Ability to use ESRI's ArcGIS 10.6.1 desktop and catalog, and ArcGIS Pro 2.1.
  • Knowledge of raster and vector datasets, and ability to perform spatial analysis.
  • Familiarity with SQL in a relational database environment.
  • Experience with Trimble mapping grade GPS hardware and software.
Desirable Certifications:
  • ArcGIS Desktop Associate certification.
  • GISP certification.
