  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide wound care and other treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and healthcare teams, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that promote optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • License: Current and valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care medical-surgical setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, ability to handle stress, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required.
  • Occasional Reaching, Bending, Pulling, Pushing, Twisting, and Squatting: Occasional reaching, bending, pulling, pushing, twisting, and squatting required.
