Automotive Service Consultant

As an Automotive Service Consultant at Sunrise Chevrolet Buick GMC at Collierville, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with Customers: You will serve as the liaison between our customers and technicians, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
• Developing Estimates: You will create detailed estimates, taking into account materials, supplies, and labor costs, as well as calculating customer payments, including deductibles.
• Preparing Repair Orders: You will prepare and obtain approval signatures for repair orders, entering them into our service database system.
• Administering Warranty: You will be responsible for administering manufacturer warranties for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keeping Customers Informed: You will keep customers updated on service specials, completion times, and service expenses.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous Service Advisor Experience: While not required, prior experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Prior Automotive Experience: Experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
• Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
• Mechanical Understanding: Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile is required.
• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license in your state of residence is necessary.
