Toolroom Assistant

Interwest Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Toolroom Assistant to join our team at our headquarters in Burlington, WA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our tool inventory, ensuring equipment is in good working condition, and supporting our shop and field staff with tool requests.

• Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment issued to and returned by field personnel.
• Inspect and repair tools as needed, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Receive, unpack, and store new tools, and reorder as necessary to maintain inventory.
• Dispatch tools and materials to job sites, and operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Support the toolroom team in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service to shop and field staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including building maintenance and supporting a safe and Lean working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a team setting.
• Basic forklift operation and mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• A competitive hourly rate of $23-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
