Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care tailored to various patient demographics, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Implement radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and radiographic techniques to accurately capture and demonstrate anatomical structures.
  • Adjust exposure settings to optimize imaging quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Review images for technical quality and positioning accuracy.
  • Exercise sound judgment during medical imaging procedures.
  • Deliver essential patient care during radiologic processes.
  • Identify emergency conditions and initiate appropriate first aid measures.

Additional Duties

  • Utilize PACS technology to ensure high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the radiographic workspace, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by authorized personnel, especially in emergency situations.
  • Exhibit excellent public relations and service standards consistently.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and uphold professional standards.
