The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for promoting and scheduling essential service tasks on commercial vehicles and machinery within the dealership's service division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect detailed information regarding customer concerns and expectations.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and confirm vehicle details.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to perform immediate vehicle assessments and generate reports.
  • Guide customers on vehicle maintenance and the importance of adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Document customer vehicle issues accurately on service input forms and confirm customer details.
  • Set expected service completion times based on workshop operations and liaise with the service manager.
  • Determine customer payment methods and secure necessary credit approvals.
  • Create service orders in the management system and maintain organized service records.
  • Monitor repair progress throughout the day, updating customers on any changes to estimates or timelines, and obtaining necessary approvals for additional work.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Manufacturer-specific training is preferred.
  • A valid CDL license is required.
