Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to fill a full-time role. This position emphasizes a balanced work-life schedule, allowing for a fulfilling professional experience without the demands of on-call duties or weekend shifts.
Current Opportunity: The ideal candidate will be a qualified professional with a focus on cardiovascular anesthesia. We welcome applications from both seasoned practitioners and recent graduates eager to advance their careers.
Contract Duration: This is a temporary engagement with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Licensure: A valid NC medical license is mandatory.
- Board Status: Candidates should be Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Anesthesiology.
- Certification: Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) is essential.
Work Environment:
- Case Load: Expect to manage an average of 10-15 cases daily.
- Shift Structure: Shifts will range from 8 to 10 hours, with no on-call responsibilities or weekend obligations.
Support and Collaboration:
- Team Dynamics: The practice operates under a collaborative care model, typically involving a ratio of 1 MD to 3 or 4 CRNAs.
- Supervisory Role: While the position is primarily supervisory, there may be opportunities for MDs to handle their own cases when necessary.
Technological Integration:
- Electronic Medical Records: The practice utilizes advanced systems such as Cerner and Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS).
