Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Meeker, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills, including Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
