Role Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will provide essential administrative support for the shipping operations within the warehouse. This role involves maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as data entry into SAP and Locator systems under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.

  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to deadlines.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to schedule pickups, monitor shipment statuses, and address any shipping-related concerns.
  • Generate picking documents for warehouse staff while ensuring efficient material rotation. Prioritize tasks for warehouse operators to meet delivery and shipment timelines.
  • Assist management in establishing work schedules for warehouse personnel based on projected workloads. Organize transportation for outbound shipments as required.
  • Accurately post completed shipments in a timely manner, generating necessary shipping documentation for outbound deliveries. Manage the receipt of inbound materials in SAP.
  • Collaborate with planners to track and log shortages for customer orders.
  • Provide basic SAP support to warehouse operators, including printing labels and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report internal and in-transit damages from deliveries, aiding management in inventory control efforts.
  • Maintain organized warehouse records, including shipping and receiving documents.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in PC systems and applications, with a preference for SAP experience.
  • Exhibit speed and accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving teams is expected.
