Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance big data systems using modern C++ versions in a Linux development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform software requirements analysis and participate in research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of an operational big data system.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using modern C++ versions, database technologies, and object-oriented and functional programming principles.
  • Collaborate with project teams, managers, and end users to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in software development, big data systems, and database technologies.
  • Proficient in modern C++ versions, database technologies, and object-oriented and functional programming principles.
