Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team at New Hire Solutions. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Vice-President of Finance, including data entry, document preparation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
- Support the Vice-President of Finance's activities and workflow
- Log data accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and process documents for data entry
- Assist with financial reports as needed
- Complete monthly tasks with minimal supervision
- Filing and organization
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in accounting and general accounting knowledge
- Strong computer skills in MS Suite and MS Office
- Cordial and engaging public-facing persona
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Good reasoning abilities and ability to make decisions using sound judgment
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
