As a Support Advocate at Seven Hills Foundation, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries. Your primary responsibility will be to assist and teach individuals with varying levels of personal care, household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping, while promoting their independence and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day services to program participants, including personal care, household maintenance, and meal preparation.
- Assist and teach individuals with varying levels of ability to assume increasing control and responsibility over their daily lives.
- Accompany individuals on appointments and administer medications in accordance with residential guidelines.
- Follow routines and protocols, including Behavior Support Plans, personal care, and physical therapy.
- 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior
- Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of your team
