Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Infojini Inc. as a Long Term Acute Care Specialist. This is a 13-week contract assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced LTAC Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and responses to treatment, providing critical feedback to the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments, promoting patient empowerment and self-management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of West Virginia.
- Recent 2 years of experience as an LPN in Long-term Care and Acute Care settings.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive attitude.
