As a PT Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the quality of our deli products.

Job Overview

This position involves handling and possessing knowledge of all deli products, including receiving, processing, preparing, wrapping, slicing, weighing, marking, packaging, and stocking shelves, cases, and bins. You will maintain neat and attractive conditions, as well as properly signed displays, while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the deli area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
  • Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
  • Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
  • Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the deli area.
  • Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing 55% of the time, sitting 0%, and walking 45%. The maximum lift/carry is 50 pounds, and the job cycles are continual at maximum levels. Temperatures range from freezer environments to back rooms that are not air-conditioned, exposing team members to weather conditions.

Compensation
