The position of Systems Engineer Integration and Test (SEIT) at GALT Aerospace offers a unique opportunity to support the integration and testing of networked communication systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing technical documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure seamless system performance.

About the Job

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures, to support the integration and testing of networked communication systems.
  • Create configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems, ensuring that they meet the required specifications.
  • Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct systems and sub-systems testing to validate their functionality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Install and configure Windows/Linux servers to support the testing and deployment of networked communication systems.
  • Set up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active Directory to ensure secure and reliable communication within the organization.
  • Maintain virtual environments to simulate real-world scenarios and facilitate testing and deployment.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear, including switches, servers, firewalls, etc., to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Capture and deploy system images to streamline the testing and deployment process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or other IT-related fields, with a strong background in Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems, including knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN, WAN, etc.
  • High proficiency in Linux and Windows, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of automation and implementation principles, with experience in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • US Citizenship required, with a minimum of an active Interim Secret clearance; must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Estimated Salary Range

$109,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
