Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful Purchaser will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, negotiating prices, and researching new alternatives to ensure the highest quality merchandise at the lowest prices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing product growth with the sales team
- Writing purchase orders and monitoring shipments to ensure timely arrival of goods
- Following up on system reports for ordering and ensuring adequate inventory levels
- Providing backup sales/customer service on products
