Music Instructor Job Description

At Music and Arts, we're passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels discover the joy of music. As a Music Instructor, you'll play a key role in shaping the musical experiences of our students and helping them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
  • Communicate with students and parents to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
  • Assist with customer service issues and provide exceptional support to our students and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and techniques.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in music education or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in music or a related field.
  • Ability to pass Guitar Center-specific training and certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
