Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role:
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Bayone, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable applications deployed in Azure. Your expertise in cloud computing and DevOps will ensure that our applications are deployed and configured correctly, and you will troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available and scalable applications in Azure.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are deployed and configured correctly.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the scalability, reliability, and security of our applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a catastrophic failure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure technologies such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Certification (AZ104, AZ303, AZ304, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
