Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage roadway design projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of roadway design engineers, providing support and guidance for professional development.
  • Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and precision of roadway design deliverables.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in roadway design and project management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licenses: Professional Engineer's License (PE).
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with MicroStation, GeoPak, OpenRoads, and Corridor Modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Professional Associations: Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
  • Bridge Design Experience: Experience in bridge design is a plus.
