Job Description

Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Area Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution, including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among project team members, stakeholders, and Fluor leadership.
Requirements
  • Accredited four-year degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or business administration.
  • Eight years of experience in project management, with a focus on nuclear projects and construction management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Glovebox Fabrication Industry and machine design.
  • Nuclear experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Engineering degree and certification in project management.
  • Experience with project controls, including scheduling, progress measurement, and cost control.
