Facility Maintenance Specialist

This is a full-time role focused on evening hours (4pm-12:30am) with a starting pay of $14.50 per hour. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available for this position.
Objective:
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness of designated facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both guests and staff while minimizing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, metal polishing, and office upkeep.
- Adhere to approved cleaning protocols using appropriate chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
- Restock housekeeping supplies upon delivery and maintain organized storage areas.
- Operate and care for cleaning equipment effectively.
- Engage in prolonged walking, lifting, or moving of items as necessary.
- Handle and dispose of biohazard materials following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Respond to and direct inquiries from customers or the public to the relevant department.
- Address immediate cleaning needs or issues and report emergencies or maintenance requirements to your supervisor.
- May be required to drive a Tribal vehicle between facilities to fulfill assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with housekeeping and cleaning equipment and chemicals, including the ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets and chemical labels. Understanding of public health and safety regulations is essential. Previous experience in Environmental Services or Housekeeping is preferred.
