Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at a 298-bed, level II trauma center in Chico, CA. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures at a technical level, operating CT equipment, and preparing patients for exams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including CT scans and radiographic exams
  • Operate CT equipment and prepare patients for exams
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, perform intravenous contrast injections, and operate X-ray equipment
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas as assigned
  • Support and contribute to the service excellence mission of our organization
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in diagnostic x-ray
  • One year experience in CT
  • Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
  • Approved CPR certification
  • ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
  • Current license issued by ARRT
  • Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California
  • Advanced certification in CT
