Role Overview

The position involves providing analytical support and producing maps for various projects within the oil and gas sector. Utilizing advanced skills in ArcGIS 10.8.x and ArcPro 3.x, the successful candidate will engage in spatial analysis and ad-hoc map production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate tailored interactive web applications using Experience Builder, ArcGIS Enterprise, Server, and Portal.
  • Digitize intricate land descriptions and connect them to Land Management software.
  • Perform queries in the land management system to effectively manage daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments within the oil and gas industry to analyze and deliver projects independently.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Geography, Geographic Information Science, or Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of experience in mapping spatial data from land survey descriptions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining data within SDE databases.
  • 3 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
  • 5 years of GIS experience, particularly with ESRI software.
  • Strong understanding of core GIS principles, including coordinate systems and projections.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases or Microsoft SQL for spatial data management.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESRI products, including Portal and ArcGIS Server.
  • Familiarity with Quorum Land, MyQuorum, and QuorumGIS.
  • Experience managing enterprise GIS in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to utilize Model Builder for process automation and data maintenance.
  • Proficient in developing solutions using ESRI JavaScript API, Experience Builder, and Python API.
  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
