Job SummaryThe Electrophysiology Lab Travel Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This role requires a strong foundation in critical care and electrophysiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
- Perform circulating functions during procedures, provide conscious sedation, and scrub for surgical implantation of pacemakers and internal cardiac defibrillators (ICD)
- Evaluate pacemakers and defibrillators during procedures, to in-house patients, and in device clinic
- Current State License
- Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years
- Completed AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment
- CCRN preferred
- Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred
At least 2 years of experience
