We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Overlake Terrace Retirement Community, a vibrant senior living community in Redmond, WA.
About the RoleAs a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following instructions and maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department.
Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions to ensure quality and consistency
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of special diets and meal preparation for large groups
- Safe food handling techniques and ability to read and understand recipes
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- $20-$24 per hour
