Job Title: Assistant Manager

At Foot Locker, we're looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales, maximizing profit goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and Motivating Team Members: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction through effective coaching and motivation of your team.
  • Customer Service and Sales: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about our products and teaming up with colleagues to provide excellent sales service.
  • Store Operations: Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations, and act as a partner between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
  • Product Knowledge and Trends: Maintain awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming product trends, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
  • Customer Engagement: Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
  • Results-Oriented: Motivated to achieve great results due to enthusiasm from interacting with customers and athletic products.
  • Adaptability: Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
  • Integrity and Trust: High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
  • Availability: Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
