We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc.

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast agents as needed
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in MRI technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred
