About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing plant maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our frozen pizza factory in Florence, KY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Floor Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of plant floors, including cleaning, painting, and repairing as needed.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic control (PLC) issues to minimize production disruptions.
  • Emergency Maintenance: Respond to emergency maintenance situations to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Refrigeration and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of refrigeration systems and equipment to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Electrical and Control Systems: Maintain and repair electrical and control systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Manage the purchasing and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Standards, Compliance, and Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 5-9 years of related experience in maintenance operations or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and train maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Strong MS Office and SAP skills to manage maintenance data and reports.
