Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Sanitation Tech to join our team at Groundworks Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Sweep and mop all production areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Remove trash and recycling from the building to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Support packaging and inventory management efforts by assisting with tasks such as stickering, boxing, and counting
  • Partner with our team of cannabis confection professionals to complete the production plan by following scheduling and assignments, accomplishing work tasks, and following established priorities
  • Follow all written work instructions, including Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and other instructions as needed
Requirements
  • Some kitchen experience, specifically in dishwashing and sanitation
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback in an efficient, meaningful, and timely manner
  • Cannabis industry or food and beverage industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in retail and production environments
  • Ability to work in a wet environment and push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
