FlightSafety International is a leading provider of professional aviation training and simulation solutions. As a Software Engineer III, you will play a critical role in developing and integrating software solutions for visual systems and simulation of external aircraft systems.

Purpose of Position

Develop software solutions for visual systems integration and simulation of external aircraft systems for pilot training. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for visual systems integration and simulation of external aircraft systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Work with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably in simulation or visual systems.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with virtual/augmented/mixed reality projects or technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

Working Conditions

Domestic and international travel may be required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
