Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. As a key member of the OR team, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless execution of surgeries and excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-anesthesia checks, explaining surgical procedures, and addressing any concerns or questions
- Assist anesthesiologists with anesthesia administration, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe operating room environment
- Care for patients during and after surgery, including administering medications, managing pain, and monitoring for complications
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid RN license and current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience as an OR nurse, preferably in a similar acute care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles, surgical procedures, and relevant medical terminology
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- $2541 weekly pay
- 40 hours of scheduled work per week
- 8am-5pm shifts
