Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per yearJob DescriptionFair Housing Testing Coordinator Role

This position plays a crucial role in the agency's fair housing testing program. The Fair Housing Testing Coordinator will administer the program, advocate for home seekers who have experienced housing discrimination, and plan, coordinate, and evaluate fair housing testing investigations.

  • Responsibilities:
  • • Tester Recruitment, Training, and Management: Conduct community outreach, provide information about fair housing rights, recruit fair housing testers, organize and conduct tester trainings, coordinate tester schedules, develop initiatives to engage and retain testers, recruit a diverse pool of fair housing testers, and maintain detailed case records.
  • • Test Coordination: Assign appropriate, qualified, and trained testers, design tests using approved methodology, debrief testers, maintain and evaluate test data, report test results, and create and update tester training and reporting materials as needed.
  • • Research and Analysis: Research property owners, tax records, corporate ownership, and other related items to design appropriate tests, identify emerging issues, develop testing programs, and maintain data systems.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent project management skills, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work independently and support team efforts. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and experience in conducting investigations, volunteer coordination, or housing or legal advocacy is desired.
