Sportsbook Ticket Writer

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sportsbook Ticket Writer to join our team at the Horseshoe Lake Charles Casino in Westlake, LA. As a key member of our retail operation, you will provide exceptional customer service to both regulars and novice bettors, ensuring everyone feels welcome at our sports book(s).

• Provide top-tier customer service, encouraging customers to return repeatedly
• Ensure adherence to all company and DGE rules and regulations
• Become familiar with our betting options and engage with customers to strike up conversations
• Work to resolve customer disputes and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience

• Basic computer knowledge (email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting
• H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• 21+ years of age or older
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
• Able to obtain a gaming license from the Department of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) and other jurisdictions where deemed necessary

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs.
• Ability to write for extended periods
• Ability to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
