We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at LifeMoves. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance team in providing exceptional service to our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Customer Service: Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our properties, including but not limited to: drywall installation and repair, flooring maintenance and repair, door and window replacement, electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse space, safeguarding agency assets and overseeing inventory management.
  • Project Management: Develop and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, monitor service levels, and proactively address deficiencies in work.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with management, program directors, and staff members, as well as partner with operations and development teams as needed.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of maintenance and/or construction experience with supervisory roles.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of the organization independently and as a contributing team member in providing quality customer service.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills to receive general direction and report status.
  • Computer skills for regular business functions and proficiency in business applications and software.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills for process and project management.
  • Attentiveness to details, and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Valid California driver license, proof of personal auto insurance, and ability to qualify as an agency driver.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus.
  • Must finish OSHA 30-hour training within the first three months of work.
  • Commitment to the mission of LifeMoves.
