Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize measurement programs for CMMs using PCDMIS software, ensuring accuracy and precision in measurement routines.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and component requirements to ensure that measurement programs are aligned with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to establish measurement protocols, ensuring that measurement programs are aligned with company standards.
  • Perform CMM Machine setup and ensure accurate measurements, ensuring that measurement data is reliable and accurate.
  • Conduct measurements and inspections to validate component precision, ensuring that components meet design specifications.
  • Analyze measurement data, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvements, ensuring that measurement programs are optimized for quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements, ensuring that measurement data is reliable and accurate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in metrology and software programming.
  • Proven experience as a CMM programmer with a strong background in PCDMIS software, with a track record of developing and customizing measurement programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of metrology, GD&T, and engineering drawings, with a strong understanding of measurement principles and software programming.
  • Proficiency in CMM operation and measurement techniques, with a strong understanding of measurement data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a strong ability to analyze measurement data and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with engineers and quality control teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
